Project Re:Brief
The FakeLove team was commissioned to create a hacked Coke Machines for Google’s Project Re:Brief. The machines connected users at their home computers via banner ads to users in front of the machine. Home users were given the opportunity to send a Coke to someone around the world with a message, and then receive a thanks.
I assisted the team with data communications and storage. My role was to facilitate communication between the beverage dispensers, the C++ App, a maintenance server and the ad-banner notification system.
Built using openFrameworks, Arduino, PHP, MySQL & sqlite.
